FAQ for Attendees

How do I register for AI in Action?

By registering on Eventbrite, you will be added to the Northeastern Canvas “AI in Action Week 2024.” It will have all the session details and materials you need to attend every session, virtually or in-person throughout the week. You will use your Northeastern Credentials to log in to Canvas.

I registered via Eventbrite for AI in Action, now what?

Once you have registered for AI In Action, you will be added to the Northeastern Canvas Course called, “AI in Action Week 2024.” This Canvas course will have all the materials and session details including the room numbers for in-person sessions and the Microsoft Teams links for virtual sessions.

When does registration close?

To be able to participate in sessions on a given day, you must have registered in Eventbrite by 2 p.m. ET at the latest on the same day as your desired sessions. This deadline allows our event staff to enter all registrants’ emails into Canvas in preparation for that night’s sessions. For example, if you sign up by 2 p.m. ET on Monday, April 1, you will have access to Canvas for the duration of the event.

Do I have to attend all sessions in-person or all sessions virtually?

Once registered on Eventbrite and added to the Canvas course “AI In Action Week 2024,” attendees are able to see all the details needed to attend the sessions. You are welcome to vary your modality type of attendance from session to session (e.g., attending in person for one session and attending virtually for another).  Some sessions are only offered virtually, and others are only offered in person at campuses across Northeastern.

How do I know which sessions I am able to attend?

There are many sessions that are being offered virtually throughout AI in Action Week and all registrants are welcome to attend these virtual sessions. Some sessions are being held in person at specific campuses across Northeastern. The final schedule will display the time, format, campus, and location of each session offered throughout the event, so attendees can choose sessions that work for their location, interest, and schedule.

Will sessions be recorded?

All sessions, including the Opening and Closing Plenary Sessions, will be recorded and available at a later date.

How do I earn my digital badge?
